Affirmations Daily Privacy Policy

The short version

Affirmations Daily uses the information you choose to provide to personalize your affirmations, reminders, audio, widgets, and subscription experience. You do not need to provide an email address or password, and we do not sell your personal information.

What the app handles

The app creates a random account identifier and handles the profile details you enter, such as your name, birth year, gender, interests, goals, and affirmation categories. It also handles your preferences, custom affirmations, feedback, notification settings, subscription status, and basic app-use, device, security, and diagnostic information. Notification tokens are used to deliver notifications you enable.

AI and Read Aloud

Affirmations Daily uses OpenAI to create daily welcome messages and Read Aloud audio. Selected category names may be shared to create a welcome message. When you use Read Aloud, the affirmation shown on screen—including one you wrote—is shared to create the audio. Generated audio may be stored on your device and in cloud storage so it can be played for you. We require our service providers to protect information and use it only for the services they provide.

Subscriptions and measurement

Apple handles App Store payments, and we use a subscription provider to confirm your access; we do not receive your full payment-card details. We also use AppsFlyer to understand how people discover and use the app. iOS may ask whether you allow tracking. If you allow it, AppsFlyer may use your device’s advertising identifier for attribution and measurement. If you decline, you can still use the app.

Storage and deletion

Your custom affirmations and preference lists generally remain on your device until you remove them, reset the app, or uninstall it. Your app profile, feedback, and generated audio may be kept in cloud services while reasonably needed to provide and protect the app, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. The app does not currently include a complete self-service option for deleting all cloud information. You can email us with a data request; because the app account is not connected to your email, we may need an in-app identifier to find the right profile.

Your choices and younger users

You decide what profile information, affirmations, and feedback to provide and whether to use Read Aloud. You can manage notifications and tracking in the app or iOS Settings. Please avoid placing information you consider highly sensitive in text you send to Read Aloud or in feedback.

The App Store lists Affirmations Daily for ages 9 and older. The app asks for a birth year but does not currently use it to enforce a minimum age or parental-consent flow. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child’s information.

Contact and updates

We may update this policy when Affirmations Daily changes; the date above shows the latest version. We may also preserve or share available information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, or our rights.
